Trailwalker
The last ten or so years have passed uncomfortably quickly, it seems like only yesterday that I walked my first trail in the summer of 2004; the North Downs Way. Since then, trailwalking has become something of an addiction, an addiction made stronger by the very limited times I get off work.
It has only been fairly recently that the idea of keeping a journal of the walks has become important, giving me an opportunity to reflect on the trails completed. I just wish that I had done this earlier, keeping a record of the seven or so trails I have completed.
The first trail blog was to be the Dales Way, walked Easter 2010, but due to a slight technical failure, it wasn’t to be. In a way though, the first blog was more appropriate. Being based close to the Borders of Scotland (Lanark) has unrivaled opportunity to explore a more local area and in February 2010 I walked the Borders Abbeys Way. This has become the first of what I hope will be many LDP entries.
All the walks have been placed in categories, so just click on the name in the side bar and all the posts for that walk should (hopefully) appear, newest at the top and oldest bottom. A few different things may materialise from time to time, including the odd day walk and some cycling. Most will be furnished with pictures (as longs as the camera is remembered).
